It takes a lot of helping hands to bring RiverArtsFest to life each year. Come add yours.

Every October, volunteers help us welcome artists and thousands of festivalgoers to Riverside Drive. Some have been with us for years. Others sign up with a friend and discover pretty quickly why people keep coming back.

Choose a shift that works for you, grab your RiverArtsFest volunteer T-shirt and enjoy paid parking on us. And with plenty of time before or after your shift, you can shop the Artist Market, catch some music, grab something to eat and enjoy the festival you helped make happen.

VOLUNTEER shifts

Artist Market Ambassador — Meet the artists, booth-sit during breaks, deliver water and snacks, answer questions and help us provide the artist hospitality RiverArtsFest is known for.

Greeter — Be one of the first faces festivalgoers see. Welcome guests, scan tickets and help people get their day on the river started.

Merchandise — Help festivalgoers take a little RiverArtsFest home. Stock and sell festival merchandise and answer general questions.

Load-In + Load-Out — Help transform Riverside Drive into RiverArtsFest—and back again. Assist with signs, tables, booths and artists arriving or departing.

Volunteer Tips

  • We recommend traveling light as there will not be a safe place to leave valuables. 

  • Water will be available for volunteers at check-in.

  • Pick up your T-shirt and get to volunteering!
